Julian was born and bred in the beautiful land of Salinas California. He spent his youth playing soccer and continues to do so to this day. In between the many soccer responsibilities he could be found snowboarding and/or listening to music. He now lives in San Francisco and splits his time between training and being San Francisco’s most epic DJ.
While studying for his BA in exercise biology at the University of California Davis, Julian decided to become a certified EMT because, in his words, college isn’t so hard. As a trainer, Julian specializes in rehabilitation and sport specific training. He enjoys all aspects of fitness and believes in their life benefits and he wants to share with others, through his training, that they too can enjoy and benefit from a healthy lifestyle.
In his own fitness regimen, Julian likes to stick to the basics. His favorite exercise is the shoulder press and he currently trains to gain around ten pounds of lean mass. Long term, however, Julian just wants to be able to maintain a level of fitness where he can competitively run a 10K on a whim and stay sexy.
